Yup, that sound you hear is me patting myself on the back. For those that may be new here, and, for those with short memories, let me remind you of who I am:
I'm the guy that stirs stuff up around here when it gets boring. I am the guy that speaks his mind, whether you like it or not. I call'em like I see'em, and I see'em like I call'em. If you've watched the film "A Few Good Men" picture Jack Nicholson saying, "You want the truth? YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH!" That's me. If you dare to ask me what I think about something, you dang well be ready for the answer, because, remember, YOU asked me. Do I pull punches? Sure, from time to time when the better part of valor calls for it.
Another thing, I have VERY thick skin, kinda like the leathers I wear, so come on all you brow-beating, chest-thumping, hear-me-roar-and-cower-in-fear types, 'cause I don't skeer easily. You know something I REALLY like about this site..(Just for the record, I haven't been to the "new" Yahoo board)..I like the fact that Bert lets things play out to see where they will go. I mean, how many biker "clubs" do you think there are that just sit around and talk about nothing BUT bikes? The thing that makes us who we are is the same thing that makes us who we aren't. We are individuals with our on opinions. I am who I am, and I'm not who I'm not. Get it?
You want someone to pacify, conciliate, mollify, placate, propitiate, you and your every fear and gripe? Well, CALL YOUR MOMMA! 'Cause I ain't the one that's gonna do it. You wanna play rough-n-tough with your replies/posts, you better be able to take as good (or better) than you can dish it out, 'cause it's comming. If you would rather indulge in the seemingly lost and forgotten art of the parley, then I can accomodate you with that petition. It's up to you.
